Summary:
Due to a family illness, our scheduled speaker will not be able to present “Beautiful Ohio: Sedimentary Dreams” as planned Monday night. As this developed too late to arrange another speaker and we did not wish to cancel entirely, we will instead be showing 90 minutes from The Great Courses: Wonders of the National Parks: A Geology of North America, presented by Ford Cochran, Director of Programming for National Geographic Expeditions. We will start with Lecture 1: Yellowstone: Microcosm of the National Parks. We will continue with Lecture 2 and Lecture 3, unless there is a consensus to show other lectures. (There are 36 30-minute lectures all together, covering all of our national parks. You can find the full list of lectures here: https://www.opensesame.com/lists/detail/2340449 , should you want to peruse the possibilities beforehand.)
The showing will start at 7 PM in Keller Hall, Room 3-230.
Our apologies for this late substitution; we hope you find this alternative interesting.
